The History of our Community
In 1963, Mountain Vista was created in response to the need for skilled nursing care in the Wheat Ridge area. In the beginning, the community served approximately 90 residents in our Health Care Center. Over the years, Mountain Vista continued to grow to meet the needs of Wheat Ridge and the surrounding areas. The campus eventually added Independent Living cottages, Assisted Living, and increased the capacity of the Health Care Center to accommodate the growing demand in the area. Today the campus includes a new Short-term Rehab Center and new Assisted Living Memory Care Center designed to meet the unique needs of these residents.
