While staying in one of our 14 private rehab suites Mountain Vista’s expert team of therapists, nurses, doctors, psychologists, and social workers deliver individualized treatment plans designed to help every resident reclaim their independence and resume their normal routine as quickly as possible.

Senior Rehabilitation Therapies
All rehabilitation programs at Mountain Vista evolve with the physical, emotional, and mental progress of the resident in mind. Our goal is to help every resident regain mobility and independence with the help of our full-service care team. The Mountain Vista staff specialize in each of the following therapies:
Physical Therapy for Seniors
Our physical therapists work with residents to decrease pain while increasing strength, endurance, and range of motion to help residents resume normal activity after injuries, illness or orthopedic surgery. Commonly treated conditions: fractures, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, cardiac disease, amputations, complex surgeries and other medical and neuromuscular diseases.
Occupational Therapy for Seniors
Occupational therapy increases independence by teaching residents safe ways to perform daily tasks such as getting dressed and preparing meals. Our therapists also guide residents through exercises to relearn fine motor coordination, visual perception, improve dexterity and protect muscles and joints to prevent future injury.
Speech-Language Therapy for Seniors
Mountain Vista speech-language pathologists evaluate and help residents learn new communication skills, compensate for hearing loss and manage difficulties with chewing and swallowing. Therapies aim to improve speech, comprehension and oral motor skills.
