Mountain Vista to Host Free “Lunch and Learn” Program on Alzheimer’s Disease Oct. 6

Mountain Vista Senior Living Community will be hosting a free “Lunch and Learn” event on Alzheimer’s Disease on Thursday, October 6, at their Wheat Ridge location.

Area residents are invited to attend the free program “Alzheimer’s Disease: What you Need to Know” to learn how this debilitating illness affects individuals and families. Attendees will learn about all the facets of Alzheimer’s, including how to recognize the symptoms, how and when to ask for help. The program will be presented by Jill Lorentz, President of Summit Resilience Training.

The 11:30 am lunch will be immediately followed by the 12:00 pm presentation.

At the conclusion of the presentation, attendees are invited learn more about the Mountain Vista Memory Care program and tour Mountain Vista’s new $5 million Memory Care Center which features 22 private apartment suites.

For a limited time, Mountain Vista is also offering new residents 50% off their first month’s rent and up to $1,500 off their moving costs.
